CBI to conduct lie detector tests of the accused arrested in Kotkhai gang rape and murder case

CBI has moved an application before the competent authority and after getting permission it will conduct the tests, said the sources

CBI to conduct lie detector tests of the accused arrested in Kotkhai gang rape and murder case August 18, 2017

In significant move, the CBI has decided  to conduct lie detector tests of the accused arrested in connection with the  killing of a minor girl in Kotkhai Tehsil of Shimla in Himachal Pradesh. The CBI has moved an application in this regard with the competent authority and after getting due permission, the test will be conducted, informed the sources. A 16 year old girl was gang raped and murdered on July 4 and later her body was found in nearby forest area on July 6 in forest area of Kotkhai. Total six persons were so far arrested in the case and one was murdered inside the jail. Yesterday the Himachal High Court has directed the CBI to complete its investigation within two weeks.
