A total of 33 licensed arms including single barrel, double barrel guns and 9 mm pistols have been deposited by Dera followers of the Sirsa headquarter Dera Sacha Sauda today. The police has directed the dera followers to deposit the weapons within two days keeping in view the tension prevailing in the state after the Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was sentenced to 20-year imprisonment in the rape cases on August 28. The dera chief is lodged in Sunaria jail in Rohtak district. It may recalled that after the conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda, violence broken out in Panchkula and Sirsa, had led to death of total 41 dead persons include 35 in Panchkula while six in Sirsa district.
