People stranded in traffic jams. Water logged upto three to four feet caused inconvenience to people

Heavy rain hit Mohali, Chandigarh and Panchkula August 21, 2017

Continuous heavy rainfall  for over six hours  has badly hit residents of Mohali, Chandigarh and Panchkula here today. The traffic jam was witnessed in different parts of tri city  due to water logging.


The situation has deteriorated to the extent that some of the areas submerged in the water upto three to four feets. Many school children did not able to attend their schools similarly many people their offices in time. The cars and other vehicles in mohali were completely submerged in  water.

The people in many areas decided to stay in home keeping in view their safety in Mohali. Almost all the roads and roundabouts were full of water and commuters were seen stranded and some of them having hard time. The some of the areas which were badly hit include roundabouts  include Sector 17, Sector 35, Tribune Chowk.
