Nitish quits as Bihar CM, Mahagathbandhan crumbles July 26, 2017

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar resigned from the his post, after resigning he said “It’s not possible to work in this environment, I tried. Tried to found out a solution.”
Nitish Kumar met Governor Kesari Nath Tripathi at Raj Bhawan to submit his resignation.He said “Under the current situation it’s not possible for me to continue with the government. I tried to find a solution. I had requested Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi to clear all the facts regarding the corruption charges. But nothing has happened,”

“Nitish Said that We waited long. RJD doesn’t want to give any explanation. So we have decided to call it quits.”
The party position in Bihar Vidhan Sabha is as below.
There are 243 Mlas in which RJD has 80 Mlas,JDU-71 Mlas BJP-53 Mlas Cong-27Mlas.
