Action Director Veeru Devgan passes away

Veeru Devgan the veteran action choreographer passed away on May 27th morning.

He was father of Ajay Devgan and a renowned stunt director, who choreographed the action sequences in over 80 Bollywood films, especially in the Nineties. He left the world at the age of 85 and so much to remember him. Veeru Devgan was the popular action director behind films such as “Roti Kapda Aur Makaan” and “Mr Natwarlal” .

Veeru Devgan was the person who ran away from his home to get into film industry and try his luck but eventually he became a stuntman who later worked as an action choreographer. He did stunt work for major heroes such as Dilip Kumar, Dharmendra, Vinod Khanna, Rajesh Khanna and Jeetendra among others. He has also directed a movie titled Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999), which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgan his son.

Veeru Devgan last rites started at 6pm Monday where many bollywood actors pay their respect and many other B-Town actors and actress tweeted the condolence message for Veeru Devgan.
