As the death toll due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district rose to 108 pictures have surfaced on social media showing a prominent state leader partying with his celebrity friends in Goa.

Congress’ national media coordinator Radhika Khera shared Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader Chirag Paswan’s pictures on Twitter, alleging that the Jamui MP is partying in Goa at this hour of crisis that Bihar is faced with.

Lashing out at the son of LJP president Ram Vilas Paswan, Khera tweeted that the BJP’s allies in Bihar are completely indifferent to the deaths of the innocents.

Hundreds of angry protesters demonstrated against Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s visit to Muzaffarpur district.

The protest occurred outside the state-run Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) when the Bihar CM arrived to review the situation.

Shouting slogans like “Chief Minister wapas jao (Go back Chief Minister)”, the protesters registered their anger over lack of medical facilities.

The callousness of Bihar’s Health Minister Mangal Pandey was left exposed when he allegedly inquired about the score during the India Vs Pakistan World Cup cricket match while he was at a press conference of Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan in Muzaffarpur.

Shockingly, Union Minister of State for Health Ashwani Kumar Choubey, who also accompanied Harsh Vardhan at the press meet, was seen napping during the conference, but he denied it and alleged that he was “in deep thought”.
