<p><strong>Don’t Drink Alcohol</strong></p>



<p>Pregnant women should avoid consumption of alcohol as it can affect the fetus. A fetus in the womb may develop a wide range of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders which can affect the health issues like:</p>



<p>Physical abnormalities</p>



<p>Intellectual
disabilities</p>



<p>Behavioral problems</p>



<p>Seizures</p>

<p>Cutting out the food groups may decrease the growth of the fetus. Taking proper food will fulfill the nutrients demanded by your body. Rather than cutting food take a proper healthy diet.</p>

<p><strong>Don’t stand or
sit for too long</strong></p>



<p>During pregnancy remaining at the same position or standing for too long can be problematic. It can cause swollen ankles and vein problems. </p>



<p>Try taking short breaks and moving if you are still in the same position. Rest your legs if you have been on your feet.</p>
