It is one of the sports that draw tourist attention towards Himachal Pradesh. This sport is more challenging as it skiing down the steeply inclined slopes. It consists of cross country skiing and jumping the snow-covered slopes of the Himalayas like Shivalik, Pirpanjal, and Dhauladhar are ideal for this sport. Best time for skiing is winters mainly in mid of December to February. Places to look forward to skiing in Himachal are:
