Can language be partial? A web series which shows how language becomes a barrier in the way of success. MX Player is streaming a web series, Thinkistan- Idea jiska, India uska from 24th May directed by Veteran ad filmmaker N Padmakumar. The show stars Naveen Kasturia, Shravan Reddy, Mandira Bedi, Neil Boopalam and Satyadeep Mishra. It is launched by Jigsaw Pictures an independent film production company. Thinkistan is the first web series launched by Jigsaw Pictures.
The story starts with the plotline of two friends Hema (Shravan Reddy), Amit (Naveen Kasturia) working in an advt agency. Hema and Amit who carries creative ideas. The quality of speaking English separates both of them from each other. Hema is successful, Loved and most popular copywriter and on the other hand, Amit is a junior copywriter his ideas are not valued because he lacks in speaking English.
This series shows how language differs an individual’s personality. Has the nation started respecting an individual according to language? Is this the direction in which our country has decides to move? These are the questions which should be raised by an individual in every field of the country. This makes the audience aware of the negative face of the advertising industry.
